27th Conference of the International Committee for Insurance Medicine (27th ICLAM Conference) 
which will be held in Estoril, Portugal from 11th to 14th of May of 2025.

Opened in 2001 and winner of the Excellency in Innovation and Architecture Quality Prize and Best Tourism Development, the Estoril Congress Center is located on a very prominent tourist site known as the Estoril Coast, next to the famous Casino, surrounded by gardens and sea views and a 25km drive from Lisbon airport.

The Estoril Congress Center is the only space certified as a Green Venue in Portugal (EarthCheck Gold Certification) for its commitment to green practices and sustainable business.

Registration Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellation received before October 31st, will be free of charge
  • Cancellation received between November 1st and January 31st, 2025, 50% cancellation fees
  • Registration cancelled after February 1st are not refundable.
  • Change of the name of the participant are accepted any time.

Those rates are per room per night including breakfast buffet and tax. City tax is not included in those rates. It must be paid directly at the hotel. You can make your hotel reservation with this special offer during the online registration process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations received before October 31st will be free of charge
  • Cancellation received between November 1st and January 31st, 2025 will have 25% cancellation fees
  • Cancellation received between February 1st and March 31st, will have 50% cancellation fees
  • Cancellation received after April 1st are not refundable
  • Change of the name of the participant are accepted any time.

The bank transfer should be received in our account no later than 15 days after registration day, otherwise the registration and all services requested will be cancelled.

Visa Requirements

For all citizens from European Union (Schengen area) Visa is not needed to travel to Portugal. Passport or Identification card are valid.

 

Attendances from other countries, please check if Visa is required considering your arrival country in EU. For any doubt, you can consult the Official website of the European Union or the local Embassy in your country.

Passport and visa requirements

Your non-EU family members must carry a valid passport and, depending on the country they are from, they may also need an entry visa. If they have a residence document (card or permit) they may be exempt from visa requirements (see tool below). 

 

There is a list of countries whose nationals do not need a visa to visit the EU for short stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

 

Contact the consulate or embassy of the country you are travelling to well in advance to find out which documents your non-EU family member will be asked to present at the border. The information on travel documents and visas provided here also applies for travel to Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
